ROCOR is outside of Russia, and the rest of the world is outside of ROCOR... Perhaps the thread should have been entitled "For ROCOR members only" to begin with.

Let us rejoice that this milestone, that once seemed as impossible as the breakdown of the Soviet Union itself, has been reached, and let us continue praying that Christians worldwide will continue moving in the direction of unification on a global scale. In the face of ever-spreading secularism, what we need more than anything is to join our countering efforts.

Locally speaking, in my area, all OCA and Russian Orthodox priests know one another, work closely with one another, joint services take place all the time especially during Lent, and glory to God for that. I do recall an occasion when I went to my local NovoDiveevo Convent (ROCOR) and when I told them what parish I was from I got a "Oh, an MP church?" for an answer, to which I answered with a bright smile and beaming face - "Yeah - we're united now!" and the topic went no further. :-)))
But, this answer came from one of the sisters, while clergy from the same monastery routinely participate in joint services and I probably would not any negativity from any of them. In fact, I met a few Orthodox priests from my area, and they all cooperate admirably.
