Congratulations to the parishioners of St. John The Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church of Scottdale PA on the occasion of their centennial. The superbly done centennial history celebrates not only the century of the Rusyn community in Scottdale, Mt. Pleasant, Connellsville, and Everson in Westmoreland County in Southwestern Pennsylvania, but a majestic transformation of the interior of the church as part of its journey to return to its Eastern Roots. The community has been served by Fr. John Salko since 1961. Mnohaja L'ita!
