Please pray for my family. We are very near the end of a 3 to 4 year battle against foreclosure and must soon leave our home. My wife is angry and blames me, my children are beside themselves with distress, and I have no idea where we will go...
We have no money and the first full time job I have been able to find in three years pays but half of what I made 5 years ago...
Thank you in advance for you prayers.
Dan

Sweet Jesus Dan is standing at your door knocking for help. Throw the doors open wide, make straight his path as you supply for their needs. Calm the storms of the hearts and emotions, let your love and peace reign in them Jesus, put everything in your order.

Lord have mercy! Lord have mercy! Lord have mercy on Dan and his family!

St. Xenia Petersburg, patron of the unemployed and homeless, having given your own home to your friend in need in order to take to the streets helping the poorest of the poor as a Fool for Christ, please, I beg you, in the name of our Lord and Saviour, to come to Dan and his family's aid.

In Christ,
Alice

Prayers.

Dan:

There are many people in your straits at this time in our nation's history, through no fault of their own. The job climate, the economic meltdown, the weak recovery, the regulatory and tax climate--have all worked to make life difficult for so many. I'll pray that your wife stops blaming you, as well as that you both find additional employment so that you can live in dignity.

Lord, have mercy on our brother, Dan, and his family at this trying time of their lives. Be their help and foundation during this trial. Let them not lose hope.

Many prayers. We've been there but we were very near retirement. Having to go through this with children at home must be terrifying. God grant Dan the peace that passes all understanding. Give him the vision to see your path.

Dan,

Keep being the good husband and father that you are.

Don't be afraid (look up how many times they say that in the bible).

My family has gone through a foreclosure this year - it's embarrassing, it feels bad - but it is only a material possession which no one will even care about some day.

Stay close to your faith - listen to Pani Rose - let Jesus in.

I will keep you in my prayers. We went through a foreclosure last March, and a bankruptcy shortly thereafter. I had 5 children under 10, including a newborn baby, who had never known another home. We moved into a 2-bedroom duplex (temporarily). I was embarrassed and afraid for my family, but with God's grace we have come through it. We are happy, healthy, and the kids are well-adjusted. You can get through this. I will pray for you all, especially your wife.

Dan. I lost my home back in 2009. And now when I read your post, my emotions stirred up within me. I don't know you personally. But honestly I would send you money...Seriously. I can't help everybody going through the same situation, because of financial limitations. But not everyone has brought this to my attention through a site dear to me like this. I back then turned some of my attention to a different God site on facebook which didn't offer much support in any way (Huge Mistake) But I now regret not using every good resource necessary. I regret not asking for support or help by all possible means that I can comprehend righteously. I by no means am saying that you're not trying to do everything you can with in your power. I encourage you keep fighting the righteous fight. Fight for all that you are grateful for by the love of God. I don't want you to go through what I went through. My name now if google searched shows in public records that I lost my house and it was auctioned off at the courthouse. I believe miracles come in many forms. And my prayers are with you and your family. May God's grace and opportunities bless you and your family more abundantly. May prosperity and mercy be with you now in all goodness. Always faithful through righteousness I wish you God speed. In Jesus Christ Amen.

I too, understand and empathize with you as I lost my home earlier this year as well. It's absolutely NO FUN AT ALL. One big consolation for me was remembering the founders of my parish who came here after WWII with literally the clothes on their backs and that's it.

Keep your spirits up! I pray and hope that things get better for you and your family in the near future!

Prayers for Dan and his family, that they be spared this distressing event and that they see hope in their economic future.

Prayers also for all those of our members who have experienced similar crises and all those in our society who face the same dreadful and fearful circumstances of being uprooted and having to begin again.

Just got the news tonight that the summary judgement will be in mid May, which should put the Sheriff at our door on my birthday in June. He is Risen....I am tired.
