Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:

I am looking to establish a community of homesteaders in a return to a land and self-sufficency movement. The ideas is to establish a religious community were there would be a monastery in the eastern tradition and have families live around the monastery. The families would work with the monastery and support themselves in a strong faith community in a communial living.

I am thinking eastablishing this in Northern Wisconsin or Northern Idaho. I would appreciate any feed back. If this is posted in the wrong area in the forum. I am sorry.

I believe there is a similar thread in the town hall section (?). I would do a search for it now but I'm about to fall over (new dad tiredness). I'm sure a quick search would bring you to others thoughts on a community.
