Where does the Melkite parishes get their hard copy translations of the Divine Liturgies of John Chrysotom, Basil, and Pre Santified.

Our parish uses any number of books, depending on who is celebrating. The textus receptus seems to be something very close to Raya. The new translation is used only when the bishop visits--and even then, Father Joseph usually reverts to what he knows. Good for him.

What hard copy, not PDFs, translations of these texts would you get for study purposes. Should I get the greenbook (RDL) and presanctified(Purple) book from Byzantine Seminary Press. Was thinking of getting the Divine Liturgy Anathology but at $65.00, it's out of my price range. I haven't seen one from the Melkites, except PDFs. Or should I look for a copy from the various Orthodox distributors. Like Jordanville, Holy Cross, etc.. I have prayer books, which have a condensed version of the Divine liturgy, but looking for something more complete, like what is in the parish pews or what a priest or deacon would use.

When Melkites do buy a book, it's usually Archbishop Joseph's Byzantine Daily Worship.

bkovacs:

There is a little difference between Greek (including Melkite) practice and Slavic practice (inlcuding the Ruthenian Rescension). I found a Slavic link and share it below. Hope this helps.

For my money the best translations by far are those done by Archimandrite Ephraim (Lash). You can find this treasure trove on his website Anastasis.
