Remember in your prayers the Protopresbyter Michael Rosco, pastor of St. John's Orthodox Church in Perth Amboy, NJ. He was seriously injured near Johnstown, PA returning from a Diocesan meeting this evening and is in a local ICU. Lord have mercy on your servant, the priest Michael, ease his pain and grant him a speedy recovery.

Merciful Lord, visit us in our time of need and affliction; and as you healed Jairus' daughter and raised her from her bed of infirmity, visit your servant, Master, and deliver your priest servant Fr Michael from all the injuries, sickness, and pain. For you alone have born the sickness and affliction of our world and with you nothing is impossible. For you are all-merciful and to you we ascribe glory and adoration forever. Amen

Prayers for the Lord's servant, His Priest Michael, that his surgery be successful, uneventful, and without complications, that he recover swiftly and fully, that he is restored to his ministry quickly, and that God grant him many years.

Fr. Michael was always kindly and quiet in a peaceful sense. Cheryl and I will miss him. I imagine that the gates of heaven opened to receive him with glorious light - just like the doors to his Church opened, bathed in light, to the refrain of Christos Voskrese for Father just a few short days ago at the beginning of the Paschal Matins. Greeting him there no doubt were his boyhood priest, +Fr John Hutnyan; +Bishop John who ordained him; his dear friend, seminary rector and mentor, +Metropolitan Nicholas and his departed loved ones. Eternal Memory. Vichnaja Pamjat. Christ is Risen! Well done, good and faithful servant. Rest well as you await the Glorious Resurrection on the Day of Judgement. Christos Voskres!

A very nice article, illustrating what an influential leader Father Michael was, in both the spiritual and civic aspects of his community.

May the memory of the Lord's servant, the Priest Michael, be eternal!
