In your charity, please remember my youngest. Caelin has been consistently ill for a couple of months with the cause yet to be determined, despite serious efforts by her doctors. Initially thought to be related to her asthma, her symptoms have failed to resolve - with consistent pain and respiratory complaints being a daily part of her life - not an easy thing for a 10 year old and made worse by the fact that those whom she trusts most can't give her the reassurance that all will be well soon.
"One day all our ethnic traits ... will have disappeared. Time itself is seeing to this. And so we can not think of our communities as ethnic parishes, ... unless we wish to assure the death of our community."

Thanks to all of my brothers and sisters, dear friends, for your prayers. They are much appreciated.

She's doing better, although still having discomfort. Some of it has been definitely attributed to previously undiagnosed gastric reflux. She's also been found to have a slight scoliosis which interferes with lung capacity/volume.
A couple of the most concerning diagnoses that were under consideration - leukemia and cystic fibrosis - have been ruled out, thanks be to God, but her immune system is low and they've not yet determined the cause of that.
