Christ is Risen!!

In your kindness, please pray for my grandson, Thomas William. He is 7 months old and has had a long string of medical issues since birth. Currently he has his sixth double ear infection--one a month since birth. He has sinus issues and does not sleep more than two hours at a time. My daughter and son-in-law, both of whom must work full time, have not had a night's sleep except fro the times Loretta and I have gone to their home and taken care of him all night. His parents usually split the night walking the floor with him because he fights returning to sleep.

Please pray for these young parents and their patience. They are both so sleep-deprived that sometimes they fall asleep without taking their own meals in the evenings. The physicians have no answer.

Thank God for each of you and thank you.

Dear Bob,

May the Lord heal little Thomas and bring some relief to the family...

Kyrie Eleison!

Be assured of my thoughts and prayers for your family, dear Bob.
How is Rachel's (is that little Thomas's mom?) arthritis?

Dear Lord send Bob's children your Holy Angels to help their
Guardian Angels to give rest to this little one and his parents!

Oh my! Our oldest was like that too, constantly sick, very similar. We finally figured if we kept him propped up pretty high on pillows so he could breath, lying between us, each holding an arm, he slept some and so did we. Well we slept with one eye opened, at least half our body rested. Seriously though, it did help.

Someone in my church relayed something similar (baby always ill) which she experienced with her son when he was little. It turns it that he had many food allergies.

A holistic doctor who is also a medical doctor might be helpful.

I will be attending the last Paraclisis to the Theotokos this Wednesday which I will be able to attend, before my big move.

I will add Rachel's name, and little Thomas's name. Our Mother in Heaven is so kind. She will hear our prayers for the precious baby.

How fortunate I have been to have, probably the only Greek parish in the country, that has the beautiful Supplication service to the Theotokos (chanted in English too!) served for the faithful every Wednesday night.

How honored I have been to be able to pray for your intentions there while your names were offered at the altar.

Bob,

Little Thomas and his parents will be in my prayers. I remember your posting about him awhile back. I'm sorry to hear that no answers have yet been found.

Prayers for little Thomas, that the Unmercenary Physicians, the Sainted Cosmas and Damian, intercede for him before the Holy Throne and that the Theotokos and St Joseph intercede for the well-being of his young parents in this time of trial.

Prayers for the little one of God and for his parents!

I agree with our Sister Alice that a holistic practitioner could provide help where traditional medicine fails.

Dear Bob,

I have been keeping little Thomas in my unworthy prayers. I am wondering how he, and his tired parents, are coming along?

In Christ,
Alice
