Please pray for the soul of my uncle, who apparently took his own life last night at the age of 78.

Details are not known yet, but I remember him as a wonderful and admirable man, who taught me a great deal about life. I never knew whether or not he had faith, but whatever he believed, it manifested itself in some unmistakable virtue.

He leaves behind a bewildered and sad family, including his wife my aunt, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Please remember them as well.

Oh dear - how sad. frown

Prayers for your Uncle - that the Lord will look on him with mercy.

None of us will ever know who much pain suffering, whether physical or mental/emotional , he was in that caused him to take this action.

Prayers for his family and friends who are all feeling bewildered and wondering if they could/should have done something to help. May they receive comfort and support at this time.

AMEN!

May his every sin be forgiven him, those in thought, word, or deed, knowingly or unknowingly. May he find eternal memory in the arms of Jesus!

My prayers are added. I know of that pain for it has happened twice in our family.....a young husband age 42 and then a young son. there is no way to explain...we just keep asking `Why` and then pray.

Bless, Father

Prayers for your uncle's repose, that the Lord look with compassion on him and lead him to a place of green pastures, where there is neither pain nor sighing, but only life everlasting.

Prayers too for the comfort of yourself and all of his family in these times of pain and confusion.
