In Indonesia, according to my observasion, the EO has succeed to introduce Christianity in form of Eastern Christianity that is "different" from the Western Christianity. Some muslim converted into Christianity through the EO. It is quite a good achievement since Indonesians had a traumatic history with Western due to the colonization (Dutch, Portuguese, Spanish, British) in the past. Generally, Indonesians relate Christianity with Western. In their mind, Christianity is a western religion. Therefore, we may say that it is hard for Western Church and denominations (Roman Catholic and Protestants) to make conversion of native Indonesians with Islam background. They usually are succesful in area or people of non Islam background in Indonesia, or in converting other Christian of another Christian group into their own group. Eastern Christianity has a good opportunity to grow here.
