At last it's official!
The archdiocese has posted [catholic-sf.org] these clergy appointments May 30, effective July 1.
Pastors: Fr. Kevin Kennedy, Our Lady of Fatima Church, San Francisco; ♥

Parochial vicars [formerly know as "Associate pastor"]: Fr. Kevin Kennedy, St. Thomas the Apostle Church, part time, and St. Monica Church, part time;

Fr. Kevin will be living next door to us in the rectory of St Monica's Church. For the first time in MANY years, we have a pastor, not an "administrator", assigned to us, and he'll be living next door, not 40 mins or over an hour away from us, as has been the case with our priests for many years. This is a great blessing for our tiny parish!

Also closer now than he was in Seattle Fr. Christopher Fadok, OP, St. Raymond Church, Menlo Park. (Fr Christopher served often with us when he was a deacon. He is UGCC.) The day after his ordination to the priesthood, Fr Christopher celebrated the Divine Liturgy for us at our former Lake Street church. Wonderful priest, we hope will be able to occasionally visit us.

Fr Vito Perrone, COSJ, ♥ will continue with his ministry as abbot at the Contemplatives of St Joseph Monastery. [catholic-sf.org]

Father Vito made the announcement to all present a month ago at our Pascha Divine Liturgy, May 5th, and again on St Thomas Sunday, but we were advised to wait for the formal announcement before broadcasting the news. smile It's been a long wait! LOL!

Many years, to Father Kevin! I think I remember listening to his interview, on Catholic Answers. I'll have to dig that one up, again smile

I was reviewing the post on htucc.org (Holy Trinity Ukranian Catholic Church, Carnegie, pa-pI church I attended for many years) and noticed in the photo session that Monsignor George Appleyard, the current pastor, was elevated to the rank of Archemandrite. That church was the parish church for at least two bishops (eparchs). God Grant him many years - Axios
