Слава Ісусу Христу! - Слава на віки! "Egyptian Muslims forget Muhammad’s letter to Christian monks at Mt. Sinai", this topic is handled well by the author Craig Considine. The video and the commentary concerns the fact the Mohammad wrote a letter, which the Holy Monks of Mount Sinai have from him concerning the relationship that Muslims must have when dealing with their fellow Christians. It is obvious that many Muslims are not aware that such a letter was written by Mohammad for his people. It is truly amazing. Should they follow what was written the problems would have been solved!!!!!! The first part is the written portion and the video explains more http://theamericanmuslim.org/tam.php/fe ... ai/0019989 Kolya

In addition, most Muslims are unaware that he was given refuge by the Ethiopian Orthodox King of Abyssinia within the walls of a monastery/Church when the pagans of Mecca wanted to kill him and his new sect.

Yes, and Mohammad actually forbade his followers from attacking the "sons of Abyssinia" as a result.

This has to be one of the most interesting topics on this forum. I am amazed there is only 4 posts regarding it.

No thanks. I am puzzled by your "NO THANKS". Is there some problem with being against a phobia which indicts many because of the actions of some? Does it make the referenced letter suspicious and perhaps bogus? Even heretics make true statements. You were being facetious and I missed it.

Am I correct in thinking you believe that it is only a few that give Islam a bad name? How do you address the complicity?

Yes, I do not believe the actions of some Muslims justifies the condemnation of all. That you find it interesting and not compelling, puzzles me. Islam, while not deserving of our adherence, does, I think, deserve our respect.

"Phobia" is generally defined as an "irrational fear", meaning one without basis in fact. After the Arab Spring in Egypt and surrounding lands, after the Jihad unleashed at Fort hood, after September 11, 2001: What is irrational about fearing Islamic extremism?

What is irrational about fearing Islamic extremism? Absolutely nothing. But, fearing Islamic extremism is quite different than fearing Islam or Muslims. I do not fear Muslims or the religion they adhere to, nor do I shun a website simply because it seeks to overcome such a fear.

I have been to Iraq,Afghanistan,Turkey,Saudi Arabia,Oman,United Arab Emirates,Somalia,Pakistan,Egypt,Lebanon,Kosovo. I even fought Abu Sayyaf in the Philippines.
