The Pope has approved a miracle attributed to the Servant of God Sister Miriam Teresa Demjanovich, SC, meaning that her name will shortly be listed among the Blessed.

Pope Approves Miracle Attributed to An American Nun [news.va].

Although she took her vows in a Latin religious congregation (the Carmelites did not accept her to their order due to her health), Sister Miriam remained a Byzantine Ruthenian Catholic during her relatively short life, having never formally transferred from the ritual Church of her birth and upbringing. She will be the first American of Carpatho-Rusyn ancestry to be beatified.

Many years,

Neil
