Or to paraphrase the timeless and eternally funny Henny Youngman, "Take our bishops -- please!"

Should I begin posting what I have heard from Roman Catholic bishops?

By all means, do.

Ha, ha....very humorous. Should I begin posting what I have heard from Roman Catholic bishops?

Let us stop with the snarky statements.

The only possible way this could bother you is if "you," know the original conversation.

I'm quite aware of it.

PS--Can you give the name of the Archbishop who made the statement which you posted. Thanks!

Hi Stu! Happy New Year!

I'll start a new thread on this! Would you like me to start with what they say about abortion....or gay marriage? grin

On second thought, I think I'll stay silent.

Blessed 2014 to all!

Certainly, and it was in Des Plains. What is the issue here? You seem to have some sort of problem with people pointing out that the questioning of bishops should not be taken lightly. There is no need to start one of those fights over a trivial side thread.

PS. I have quoted the good bishop before. Abp. Alypy

What does that have to do with me? I am not the one upset. He is always sarcastic. Let it go.

He learned under a great master, Abp. Seraphim. You might still see some of his work in Sea Cliff if you hurry.

It came across as a snipe against Orthodox Christians on your part. You do not need to repeat other's sarcasm. Knock it off!

Really, it has noting to do with a snipe at Orthodox Christians. I for one am in a position where the Orthodox Christians take pot shots at me. I did not follow you into union.

Even Putin had mercy on Pussy Riot, and pardoned them. A week before Nativity we should be more humble. If I have offended your sensibilities I ask forgiveness. I just ask that you do the same.

Really? I am sorry to hear this. It is uncharitable and I will point it out if I see it in the future.

I was horrified at the actions of P. Riot....but I think their sentence was a bit lengthy.

You are correct.

Please forgive this sinner.
