My understanding is that the visit will include:
- 5 days in Toronto (Sunday 4th to Thursday 8th)
- 1 day in Ottawa (Friday 9th)
- 3 days in Montreal (Saturday 10th to Monday 12th)

During the visit, His Beatitude will visit many parishes and attend a number of banquets and luncheons.

Because of the unrest in Ukraine, it is possible that the visit may be shortened.

His Beatitude blessed me this evening and imparted his blessing to the Byzantine Forum members.

He gave a moving address about the Church and also mentioned how the Sobor of the Holy Resurrection in Kyiv fed thousands during the Maydan period in its basement and also gave shelter to many during the cold months. People wounded or shot came to the Sobor for medical treatment as well since no one wanted, at the time, to go to a government hospital as the doctors there were under orders to turn them into the police.

He mentioned one case of a young man, with one eye, who jumped from a second storey building to escape police and who sought shelter in the Sobor where he was treated.

It was full house at the banquet with our Ukrainian Orthodox Bishop as well as our UGCC Bishop in attendance, along with many clergy both EC and Orthodox.

His Beatitude enjoined us all to pray very much for the situation in Ukraine.
