Today was the Sunday of "the Fathers of the First Six Ecumenical Councils", on July 11; yet my books tell me that the observance is on the first Sunday falling on July 13 or thereafter. Of course, I have the calendar hanging on the wall; but how do I know when the books are going to be right? After all, the 11th is certainly not on or after the 13th! wink

The wall calendar put out by Pittsburgh was incorrect this year. The Sunday of the Fathers is indeed next Sunday, July 18. Father Petras' Typicon acknowledges the error.

I wondered about that also. The Ukrainian Eparchy of Stamford also had the commemoration this past Sunday. That's scrolled off their site but they have next Sunday as simply the 7th Sunday After Pentecost:

Was it an error? Or just a different way of calculating it?
