I would contact the Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Church. If anything like that is available they should be able to help you.

Are you looking to have an icon commissioned for a church or for your own personal devotion?

I would say the best bet is to contact an Armenian parish and ask for references.

Icons of Saint Gregory that are available for purchase online include:

1) http://archangelsbooks.com/proddetail.asp?prod=HTM-A271

2) http://www.liturgix.com/biz/index.html?loadfile=itemjd070m.html

3) http://www.stspress.com/products-pa...-gregory-the-illuminator-and-st-stephen/

4) http://www.easterngiftshop.com/Item/SPC976 (Prayer card)

Congratulations to your name-day!
A beautiful, big cathedral was built not far away from a district, where I live: http://www.armenianchurch.ru/religion/churches/7435/#tag4
Everytime I pass by, I want to go inside.

Please visit the cathedral one day. Everyone is welcome to visit and pray in an Armenian Church. Thank You for pointing out the website!

There was a time when to call an Orthodox Christian an "Armenian" was very offensive as it was synonymous with "heretic" (i.e. "Monophysite").

And when an Armenian visited the monastic cell of a Kyivan Caves Father or the home of an Orthodox Christian - they had the place aspersed with holy water . . .

This COULD explain Nataly's reticence about entering an Armenian cathedral.

Oh, no! Alex, you understood me wrong! I do like to visit churches of different confessions: Catholic, Protestant.. I was in a Coptic church in Egypt for example. I visited it with much interest to the Monophysite faith and even I received a photo of the Pope of the Coptic church. I'm fond of visiting such historical and religious places.
I will visit this church definitely. I mean, when I pass by, I drive a car along the street, where this cathedral is situated, I just don't have time to go inside, because I'm in a hurry! And I wish I will go inside someday, when I will have time, which I with much pleasure will dedicate to my acquaintance with this beautiful place!

Speaking of our long-suffering Armenian brethren, this is the 99th anniversary of the Armenian genocide. Let us pray for the two million innocent martyrs and also for those who consigned them to martyrdom.

Very interesting for me to read what you all wrote. I am a Catholic, collect holy cards of saints (Catholic, Orthodox etc) and would like to swap Italian and Brazilian Catholic holy cards if someone is interested.
