Am I correct that the former Byzantine Catholic monastery in Newberry Springs, CA is now Coptic Orthodox monastery?

The Fathers of Holy Resurrection had a good relationship with the Coptic Orthodox Monastery of St. Antony. When they left St. Antony's took over HRM's former property.

Here is St. Antony [stantonymonastery.org] webiste.

(We formerly lived (from 1995 until 2009) in our own monastery in the Mojave Desert in a place called Newberry Springs. We sold this property in 2008 to our friends, the Coptic Orthodox monks of St. Antony’s Monastery. From 2009 until we acquired the house in St. Nazianz, our community lived with the Benedictine monks of St. Andrew’s Abbey, Valyermo, CA)

I love and esteem the Coptic tradition.

What is most inspiring is their devotion to the Seven Praises/Daily Office.

It is both the most accessible/easily prayed Daily Office and the longest/most challenging to do on an everyday basis.

St Mark's Coptic Orthodox Church on Glendinning in Toronto has the Relics of St Mark the Evangelist, St Stephen the Protomartyr, the Apostles and the Martyrs of recent years.

Wow. I visited Valyermo back in 2010 and noticed a good amount of icons. I wish I inquired more. I would have liked to meet the Eastern monks. I didn't even know.

Dear Marduk,

Do you say all seven offices of the Agpeya daily?
