I came across this earlier in searching for a prayer for the Pope's family members who died in a tragic car crash in his native Argentina.
With all of the silliness lately and the exchanges between many of us that are rather, shall be say full of vitriol and anger, I found this prayer to be calming. (St. Isidore, referenced therein as a Bishop and Doctor of the Church is a sixth century saint of the undivided Church.)
A Prayer before logging onto the internet:
Amighty and eternal God,
who created us in Thy image
and bade us to seek after all that is good, true and beautiful
especially in the divine person of Thy Only-begotten Son, and our Lord Jesus Christ,
grant, we beseech Thee,
that through the intercession of Saint Isidore, Bishop and Doctor,
during our journeys through the internet
we will direct our hands and eyes only
to that which is pleasing to Thee
and treat with charity and patience all
those souls whom we encounter
Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
