On September 22, Russian television broadcast a documentary on Agafia Lykova, the last member of an Old Believer family who lived in the Siberian wilderness. She is nearly 70 years old and still in need of a helper.

If you do not know who Agafia is, here is a blog which describes an updated 2013 VICE documentary on Agafia It is modest and descriptive rather than judgmental and consists primarily of the words of Agafia herself.

As always, prayers for the Lord's handmaiden, Agafya. I thought I had seen this documentary previously, but find that it's a new one to me. Thank you, appreciate it, Tom.

For anyone who is just becoming familiar with her, I recommend 'Lost in the Taiga' - copies of it can usually be found at AbeBooks, Alibris, or Ebay.

Many years,

Neil
