Reading this I have to ask: Do you mean that the majority of the UGCC accepts them as Ecumenical, or do you mean something stronger than that?

Dear Peter the Rock,

That is the official position.

It doesn't stop unofficial positions however . . .

Yes Orthodox Catholic, I'm named after St Didymus the Blind. It may be of interest to you that he is also venerated as a saint by some Eastern Orthodox churches and is included in the Prologue of Ochrid.

You're correct that Pope St Dioscorus was not condemned at Chalcedon however he was condemned later by certain councils. It's good to hear that some Eastern parishes are no longer condemning Oriental saints publicly.

Thank you for sharing the words of the Emperor.

Lovely to hear of your icons also :)

I see no reason why any church should be required to accept any councils which they have not traditionally held. As others have stated, the importance is in the unity of faith. The Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Church has stated that it sees later councils as merely being local and thus not relevant to it.

The position of the Ukrainian Catholic Church is particularly interesting considering the position of the Melkite Catholic Church that 7 Councils count as Ecumenical (according to question 8 on this site: https://melkite.org/faith/religious-education/melkite-challenge-2005-set-2).

Truth be told, I was not even aware (until it was posted here a week ago) of the claim that that is an official UGCC position.
