2Sing joyfully to God our strength;a
raise loud shouts to the God of Jacob!
3Take up a melody, sound the timbrel,
the pleasant lyre with a harp.
4Blow the shofar at the new moon,
at the full moon, on our solemn feast.
Psalm 81:2-4
The Lord has been kind to me. In the month of October I learned that I'd been accepted in to Phi Theta Kappa, an honor society which will provide me with scholarships, but in to Duquesene University in Pittsburgh, PA. I've been wondering all this time whether I was on the right path and it seems that I've been allowed to more forward. Two years of schooling should leave me with a Bachelor's degree in Theology and Rhetoric. That will have me with a BA and living only a few miles from Saint Cyril and Methodius Seminary.
I've been living in Upstate New York with the nearest church of my rite four hours away. There is a nice Melkite church in my town with a good parish family and a wise priest, but I'm so very looking forward to coming back to my familiar liturgy.
Praise be to the God who defends me on the journey and leads me home
