There are two Orthodox churches in the middle of the heaviest of the snow belts currently hammering Cheektowaga,NY. St.Mary's ACROD on Losson Road and Holy Trinity UOC-USA on Como Park Blvd. Sixty (60) inches (152cm) have been reported by the NWS in the vicinity since last night. Please pray for the faithful and for the structural integrity of their parish facilities. Lord, have mercy.

Had a call from a friend who lives north of Buffalo. He had six inches of snow but says that south of the city there is as much as six feet in places. The big job now is to get it off roofs.
