As of about two days ago, we have bells!

We used the old amp (turned out to be high end), and the old speakers are still there, and the remote for the Anaphora is still coming, but we have them.

We had bells here in Erie. But either they broke or were shut off. The tunes they played were before D.L. were kind of cheesy but the bells at the beginning of D.L. were spectacular. If they shut them off because it was bothering the neighbors they should have placed the speaker indoors so we could have continued to hear them, volume lowered of course. And if they are broken........

We were able to use the old amp. A different brand (of the two :)), but apparently compatible. The rep said never to give that up, as it is better than what is made today.

The old ones had reached their time. It was down to one cassette working, had been cannibalized to fix parts so many times . . .

IN another week or two, with the delivery of the remote, we will be able to play the single bell during the first part of the Anaphora, and switch to full-out bells on command.
