I was just reading one of the posts to a protestant looking into eastern christianity. I myself am new to the sceen. I was reading anastasios comments to the post. He pretty much said if your geared to read mostly orthodox books and enjoy its spirtuality it would be all right to become orthodox if you are roman or byzantine catholic . IS this true? I thought that we all must be unity to the church of rome. My family and drive a far distance to a byzantine catholic parish and an orthodox church is right in my own town. I realy have been struggling with issue given I sometimes have problems with the latin influence in the byzantine church. Its sometimes hard to be a part of something when you disagree with some of the concepts. Especialy in my studies of church history I get dicourage in seeing the conflicts and the results. confused
