Prayers for a woman, as we crossed paths today, she asked for God's mercy. Her daughter is 23, passing on to heaven because of an extremely rare form of cancer. As we talked, myself feeling like a real dummy, she shared in there her husband died eleven years ago. Then her son, who would be around thirty, was murdered. She said I'm going home to share a meal with my thirteen year old. MERCY, THERE IS ONLY GOD'S MERCY, GRACE, AND LOVE FOR THE BEAUTIFUL WOMAN, WHO KNOWS THE DEEPEST GRIEF! I didnt get her name, but our Good God knows!

Prayers that the Theotokos, mother of Our Lord and all of us, give blessed peace to the Lord's handmaiden, this nameless woman, comforting her and holding her as she deals with these burdens.
And, Lord, in Your gracious mercy, give comfort and strength also to her young daughter as she faces the impending loss of her big sister, and, in Your infinite kindness, let that big sister come to You without suffering and take her to a place of light and love, that she may know everlasting peace.
