Does anyone have any suggestions for prayers/spiritual exercises that are Eastern Catholic/Orthodox for the weekly themes?My idea so far was to do an akathist daily and possibly paraklesis.
The framework is
12 days Preparation Casting/Emptying the Spirit of the World
7 days Knowledge of ourselves
7 days Knowledge of Our Lady
7 days Knowledge of Our Lord Jesus
34th day is Consecration
For Knowledge of Our Lord and Our Lady it is rather easy to find akathists. Though knowledge of Ourselves and Emptying the Spirit of the World is very challenging finding prayers for. My only thought was reading the psalms and increasing the number of Jesus prayers like the pilgrim did in the hut. Any suggestions, opinions, thoughts, or insights would be very much appreciated.
