Hello friends, I received this icon as a gift from a close friend. The icon came from his home in Crete, Greece. It is an ancient icon, written on liturgical cloth (which covered the wooden board). He told me that it is an ancient one (100-200 years old). What is the name of the icon? Which style is it? Is it highly valuable (artistically)?

Forgive my ignorance - where is the icon?

I may be crazy, but it would be way more fun to start a game of "20 questions".

So far it is the following
-An Icon
-From Crete
-Written on liturgical cloth

Do you have a picture of it?

Unless you do, we're not playing . . . smile
