Just an additional note that among the Orthodox devotees of the "Conception of St Anne" was, of course, the great spiritual writer and teacher Saint Dimitri of Rostov.
He wore a medal of the Immaculate Conception (and there are all kinds of versions of this, usually depicting the Most Holy Theotokos with a quarter moon under her feet, a crown of twelve stars, surrounded by Light etc.). He had also taken the vow to defend the holy Conception of the Mother of God to the death and frequently prayed the prayer "All Immaculate Theotokos, save us!"
He also prayed a "Hail Mary" at the turn of every hour, even throughout the night. He prayed the Rule of the Theotokos of 150 Hail Mary's daily and many other prayers to the Theotokos. Finally he asked that he be interred in a Church dedicated to the holy Conception of Saint Anne.
His deep spirituality, including his great veneration for the Most Holy Theotokos, left its profound imprint in all his sermons and writings, especially in his Lives of the Saints which can be purchased from Chrysostom Press for those who are interested! (I don't get a kick-back from them at all - they just do a great job).
