No worries, I believe this is all interconnected!

I've spoken with Orthodox priests who have indicated that the patriarch of Moscow and his bishops, by endorsing not only Russky Mir, but also the genocidal attack on Ukraine, have excommunicated themselves.

I think there should be no question as to their current status with the Lord, but I wonder how "self-excommunication" is handled by Orthodox canonical law ?

A new buzzword/ buzzphrase used in political and diplomatic circles these days is " exit-ramp". It pertains to finding a negotiated settlement for an increasingly escalating conflict. It also pertains to a "way out" while still "saving face." Politically, it appears that Putin has passed every exit-ramp and is now way down the highway without one.

Spiritually, there is ALWAYS one final exit ramp-.......admission of mistakes, sorrow and amends. And it seems to me that's how  RE- communication begins.

Imagine  the whole new look, the whole new example, the MP would show the world with that spiritual exit-ramp. It wouldn't erase the darkness done, but it would shine a whole new light now. It would astound the world and be the greatest of Gospel testimonies..........and they might even save face.
