My family has recently been gifted with a very large icon of the Theotokos that would rather dwarf our icon corners. Partly inspired by the some of the icon shrines presented at St John the Wonderworker (OCA) [fc71400ea5561bf51237dbf127dd3deab7fce931.googledrive.com], I would like to make or commission to be made a proskinitaria that can hang on the wall, and hang this icon on it. Can anyone point me to some resources on these? I've done some google searches over the last couple of days and found some very interesting outdoor shrines, but I don't see many indoor ones, except those used as veneration stands before iconostasis or in the narthex of a church.
