Glory to Jesus Christ!

I will keep this general so as not to overwhelm you.

I am eligible to apply to Ss. Cyril and Methodius Seminary in 3 years, as a married seminarian. In addition to the information I receive from the eparchy, etc, I wanted to ask all of you, whether through personal experience or other, how married seminarians managed to financially get through the 4 years.

Who worked, if anyone? Did the wife stay home, or move with the seminarian to rent nearby? Did anyone's eparchy provide assistance?

Any information relevant to this would be appreciated beyond measure. We are saving as much as possible for this journey.

Be assured of my prayers, and God love you!

-Michael

Its gratifying to hear of your seminary interest. Just so you may not be disappointed, are you pretty certain that you will be accepted, including the recommendation of your pastor?

As for your question, I would suggest talking to the married seminarians for their experience. As the time gets closer I suggest you use social media to advise people of your situation and for help in finding quarters and employment (facebook "Byzantine Catholic" "Byzantine Deacons Forum" and "Byzantine Catholic Vocations"
