My six-month old son, Isaac, is having skull surgery tomorrow to correct a condition called sagittal synostosis. He is expected to be in the hospital for three days. Prayers are appreciated!

Prayers for precious little Isaac, that the angels of God will guide the surgeon's hands and that all will go well.
Through the intercessions of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of our God. Amen.

Prayers for Issac, that the Lord God grant a good outcome from surgery, and that he heals quickly and fully.
Lord, have mercy!

Thank you everyone for your prayers. The surgery went well; he is resting currently in the pediatric ICU and will probably be moved to a regular room this afternoon. His head is pretty swollen, but he's able to open his eyes, which is very often not the case. The neurosurgeon was by this morning and thinks he is doing great. Hopefully we'll be able to hold him soon!

Thank you all for your prayers. My son came home today. We started getting some laughs last night and he was able to hold his head up. Today he was laughing more and able to turn his head. It's still quite swollen; it looks like someone took a rubber mask of my son and put it on his head - very out of proportion with his little body! But the surgeon thinks he is doing great, and there are no meaningful restrictions on his activity. Amazing that surgeons can literally take apart the top of my son's skull on a Tuesday, rearrange the pieces and then send him home in a good mood before the weekend!
