I came across these two articles from the official website of the Chaldean Catholic Diocese of Saint Peter the Apostle and wanted to share them here:

http://kaldu.org/2015/08/the-2006-reform-of-the-chaldean-mass-and-the-2014-missal-of-patriarch-sako/

http://kaldu.org/2015/08/keeping-the-liturgy-chaldean/

I know that the Chaldean liturgy was reformed in 2006, which included restoring ad orientem worship and the return of the altar curtain. What I am surprised to learn from reading the articles is that the Chaldean Catholic Diocese of Saint Peter is the only Chaldean diocese that implemented the reform. The other Chaldean dioceses have not.

Then, I learned that His Beatitude implemented a new reform of the Chaldean liturgy in 2014 which appears to undo the reforms of 2006. The Chaldean Catholic Diocese of Saint Peter has resisted the 2014 reforms.

First, the Syro Malabar Church had divisions over the liturgy, and now the Chaldean Church.

I guess the Priest and not God should be the focus of the parishioners attention. In the reformers minds of course!. Probably Piero Marini's enforcement. He took the office of Congregation for the Oriental Churches in 2014. And cares less for anything that is related to tradition. Hence why Benedict XVI replaced him with Guido Marini as master of papal ceremonies. Not surprising!. His focus is on man and not God!. A distorted way of thinking thanks to Vatican 2, and the destruction of the Roman liturgy (Ordinary Form). Best to ask why would a Latin be given control of anything east of Rome!. The Francis effect I guess.
