Our Moderator Bob's mother is approaching the end of her life with Bob struggling to assist her.

Let's all lift up our hands in prayer for his mother, for Bob and for his entire family at this most difficult time!

Update:

My mother continues to decline, but is still sharp of mind and determined to live every second as she wants. She is confined to a wheelchair--can no longer stand by herself, even with a walker--is on constant O2, and has less and less heart function with each passing day. But she talks about things on her schedule she anticipates doing two to three weeks from now.

Prayers continue!

Thought I'd update. My mother has been stabilized. Her heart function will remain at 15%; AFIB is and always will be out-or-control; mobility is still via wheelchair; on O2 on and off every day and night. Other issues beyond that. She's stopped physical and occupational therapy and has settled into a routine at the skilled care facility. She seems happy with it all.

Christ is in our midst!!

My mother was sent to the hospital on Father's Day, spent a few days there, returned to the nursing home, and spent the last 22 days in physical and occupational therapy to get her back to some level of independent function. This morning I just received a phone call that she has been seen by her primary care physician who believes she is in congestive heart failure again. She is being sent back to the hospital as I write this. Please keep her in you prayers.
