Father Evancho and Father Nebesnyk will be celebrating Divine Liturgy on Holy Saturday April 20,2019 at 3 PM.

The service will be held at St Mark's RC Church 7081 SE HWY 42.

St Mark's is located North West of the Villages. It is real close. They will be blessing Easter Baskets.

Hope there will be a large turnout.

SCHEDULE OF LITURGICAL SERVICES JAN - DEC 2020
Divine Liturgy (Mass) will be offered in the Chapel of St. Mark the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 7081 S.E. Hwy. 42, Summerfield, FL 34491. The Saturday Vigil Divine Liturgies are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. each Saturday listed and fulfill our Sunday obligation.
2020:
JANUARY 11: Divine Liturgy: Commemoration of Theophany (Jan. 6 Baptism of Our Lord) with Great Blessing of Water. Feast also known as Manifestation (Revealing) of the Trinity. One of the oldest feasts in the East, it has been traced to the beginning of the 2nd Century. This is the second greatest feast next to the Resurrection of Our Lord.
JANUARY 25: Divine Liturgy: Feast of Our Holy father Gregory the Theologian, Archbishop of Constantinople (one of the four great doctors of the Byzantine Church)
FEBRUARY 1: Divine Liturgy: Vigil for Encounter of Our Lord with Simeon and Anna. (Presentation of Our Lord into the Temple). CANDLES WILL BE BLESSED.
FEBRUARY 15: Divine Liturgy: (1st All Souls Saturday)
MARCH 7: Divine Liturgy: (2nd All Souls Saturday)
APRIL 12: (SUNDAY) 2:00 P.M. PASCHA: THE GREAT FEAST OF THE RESURECTION OF OUR LORD, GOD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST, includes reverence of the Holy Shroud, Procession, Resurrection Matins and Divine Liturgy, Mirovanja (anointing) and Blessing of FOOD BASKETS The “First Anniversary of our Byzantine Catholic Community in the area of The Villages.
APRIL 25 FEAST OF ST. MARK, APOSTLE AND EVANGELIST. This Divine Liturgy will be offered for Health and Blessings for Fr. Rafal, Fr. Dominick and all parishioners of St. Mark the Evangelist RC Church for their kindness to our Byzantine Catholic Community.
MAY 3O: DIVINE LITURGY PENTECOST – THE BIRTHDAY OF THE CHURCH. (A great Feast Day of the Church. The day we Byzantines wear GREEN).
JUNE 6: DIVINE LITURGY-- SUNDAY OF ALL SAINTS. (5th All Souls Saturday)
JUNE 27: DIVINE LITURGY -- SATURDAY BEFORE THE GREAT FEAST OF SAINTS PETER AND PAUL, PRE-EMINENT APOSTLES.

JULY 18: DIVINE LITURGY: Holy Day of ELIJAH THE PROPHET (7/20). Blessing of Vehicles.
AUGUST 1: DIVINE LITURGY: PRE-FESTIVE FOR TRANSFIGURATION OF OUR LORD (8/6). Blessing of Fruit.
AUGUST 15: DIVINE LITURGY for the DORMITION (falling asleep) of the THEOTOKOS. Holy Day of Obligation. Blessing of Flowers.
SEPTEMBER 12: DIVINE LITURGY: SUNDAY BEFORE EXALTALTION OF THE HOLY CROSS (9/14)
The day we wear RED.
SEPTEMBER 26: DIVINE LITURGY: THE PASSING OF ST. JOHN THE THEOLOGIAN, APOSTLE AND EVANGELIST
OCTOBER 3: DIVINE LITURGY: COMMEMORATION OF THE FEAST OF ‘POKROV’—THE PROTECTION OF THE MOTHER OF GOD (This special Feast Day of the Byzantine Church has been celebrated every year since 911 A.D. when the Theotokos miraculously appeared in the Church of Blachernae, kneeling and praying, where people were huddled and praying for protection from the invading Barbarians. The threat was averted by the prayers of the Theotokos
OCTOBER 31: DIVINE LITURGY: FEAST DAY OF BLESSED THEODORE ROMZA, MARTYR. Bishop Romza was martyred in Mukachevo, Sub-Carpathia, by the communists in 1947 for defending his faith and the Greek Catholic Church.
NOVEMBER 21: DIVINE LITURGY: ENTRANCE OF THE THEOTOKOS INTO THE TEMPLE. (Solemn Holy Day. This Feast was introduced in Constantinople about the year 700 A.D.)
DECEMBER 5: DIVINE LITURGY: PRE-FEAST OF ST. NICHOLAS, BISHOP OF MYRA and PATRON SAINT of the BYZANTINE CHURCH (Dec. 6)
DECEMBER 26: DIVINE LITURGY: FEAST OF THE NATIVITY OF OUR LORD, GOD AND SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST. The Eastern Church accepted this great Feast Day from the Western Church in the 4th Century.​
