Kyrie eleison.

I had one parent and one set of grandparents who rode "the CHF roller coaster".

It is stressful for all involved.

Prayers continuing.

Prayers for your mother's stabilization so she can be released from the hospital and continue the progress she had been making in therapies for her ongoing independent function.

Christ is in our midst!!

My mother has been in and out of the hospital so many times that it's been like having a revolving door on the place this past year. She had become stabilized during a hospital time in September when they removed a liter of fluid from around her heart and lungs, thus making her medication effective enough to make her able to function in a more normal way.

This past week she has suddenly begun to lose a lot of weight, even though she continues to have a good appetite.

Please continue to keep her in your prayers.

Thank God for each of you and thank you.

Christ is in our midst!!

The Lord be praised. My mother has recovered enough from all the things she has suffered that she will move into an Assisted Living facility next Tuesday, January 21. According to her physicians and physical therapists she is well enough to be semi-independent and no longer needs the services of a Skilled Care facility. Obviously I am thrilled. My wife told me not to ever count my mother out because she is one tough cookie.
