I am thrilled that His All Holiness Patriarch Bartholomew has accepted the invitation of Notre Dame University to deliver the commencement address in May 2020 and accept an honorary doctorate degree.
It is my belief that His All Holiness, together with Pope Francis, will be prime movers in ending the 1000 year old schism which separated the holy Apostolic Churches. May the two lungs of the Apostolic Churches, Catholic and Orthodox be restored, reunited, and may the Church that Christ founded may become One again.
