Hi Everyone,

This may interest some on this forum, it shows the Creed used by the Antiochan Syriac Maronite Church from its first development at the First Council of Nicaea (325AD) all the way to its current version.

Although, the text is in Syriac (Aramaic), the comments are in English. The differences are shown through colour code.

God Bless!

Hi Bob,

I've attached the file, on the Syriac Maronite Nicene-Constantinople Creed, that the link was point to.

PS. Thanks for letting me know about the forum rule.

Sincerely yours in Christ!

keefa:

Attached files are also not permitted. If you wish to let others know of this information, you ought to offer your private email address in the private messages section to anyone who might be interested to obtain this from you. Then that person or persons could email you and you could exchange the information outside the forum as you both might wish.

So, publicly you would offer this information "to anyone who wants to send me a pm with your email address and I will send the file to you through your email."

Hi Bob,

Again my apologies for violating your forum rules. I wanted to share this document, because it's a topic that has been brought up before on this forum, and it includes information that is found nowhere else -- with regards to the Antiochan Syriac (Aramaic) Tradition.

If someone wants to find the document online, they can google it (with the initial title of this post between double quotes.)

Sincerely yours in Christ!
