Is there a simple place to find what relations are like between the various Eastern churches and Rome? I've been wondering about this for a while, and the thread about the new Armenian Catholic patriarch got me wondering again.
I've always had the impression that reunion would be more likely with the Oriental Orthodox than the Eastern Orthodox. I don't know how accurate that is. But Oriental patriarchs seem to be more genuinely cordial with the pope than Eastern patriarchs tend to be. I've heard that when Moscow isn't very close with Rome, Constantinople is, and then when Constantinople isn't, Moscow is. What of the other Eastern Orthodox churches? Russia never seems to have much interest with Rome, same with Serbia and Georgia. Although, these are all just impressions. What about the Assyrians?
