Is it odd for them to use musical instruments during the Divine Liturgy? I thought that was anathema to the Byzantine practice?

Vety interesting! RC sisters (Little Sisters of Jeesus) have had a fraternity/ community, that used to travel in wagon with the gypsy people in Europe...

I know that there has been a priest assigned an apostolate directed at pastoral care of the Romani for some years, but he is of the Latin Church
