When I served with clergy in a Romanian Orthodox church on Bright Tuesday, I had a surprise. Not only was the curtain closed at certain points during the liturgy, but the clergy knelt for the anaphora. I have never encountered this with Serbs, Ukrainians, Russians, or anyone else.
Do any Byzantine Catholics practice kneeling during Bright Week? I wonder if this is a Romanian thing. Like the Serbs, Romanian practice tends to be halfway between Russian and Greek practice. Also like the Serbs, Romanians seem to do things that nobody else does. Of course, this is the only Romanian parish that I have ever served in. What do Romanian Greek Catholics do during Bright Week?

No as the norm (afaik), even before the 2006 modifications (aka RDL). I questioned our Dean, who used to be Byzantine Catholic, he had never heard of such a practice. To be fair to the Romanians, that is the only Romanian parish I have ever served in( I have served in two Monastic communities in the OCA Romanian diocese). I like that Romanian parish very much. It appeals to the traditionalist in me. Beautiful Byzantine chant, almost like being in a Greek Old Calendar church.
