Hi All,

I was active here many years ago as a teenager (cannot even recall the user name now). I always found this to be an excellent forum for discourse and learning.

I am a Navy Veteran here in Southern California. After much prayer and contemplation, I will ultimately be meeting with the priest in my area to discuss a change of rites. As one with Eastern European roots, I certainly feel at home (and, yes, I know that heritage is not required to feel at home in the wonderful Eastern Catholic parishes).

I just got here, but I've been a lurker for a while. I am okay with being a Latin, for now. BUT, I still have the utmost respect for my Eastern brothers.
