The memorials of Pope Saint John XXIII (October 11) and Pope Saint John Paul II (October 22) are celebrated this month on the Roman Catholic liturgical calendar.

In Sofia, Bulgaria, there is a Greek Catholic church under the patronage of Saint John XIII. It is located at the monastery of the Eucharistic Sisters, a Greek Catholic religious community. It may be the first church in the world to be named after "the Good Pope".

What makes it more interesting is that both Popes are depicted on the iconostasis.
