Hello Everyone! I’m new here. This is my 2nd post.
Scripture maintains over and over that Persecution is coming. Are you prepared for it? What are you doing spiritually to prepare yourself for possible persecution? Paul’s 2nd Epistle to the Corinthians provides a benchmark for this persecution just like in the early church. What are you doing spiritually to be prepared for possible persecution?
5 For just as the sufferings of Christ are abundant for us, so also our consolation is abundant through Christ. (II Cor 1:5)
7 But we have this treasure in clay jars, so that it may be made clear that this extraordinary power belongs to God and does not come from us. 8 We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; 10 always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be made visible in our bodies. 11 For while we live, we are always being given up to death for Jesus’ sake, so that the life of Jesus may be made visible in our mortal flesh. (II Cor 4:7-11)
14 because we know that the One Who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus, and will bring us with you into His presence. (II Cor 4:14)
17 For this slight momentary affliction is preparing us for an eternal weight of glory beyond all measure, 18 because we look not at what can be seen but at what cannot be seen; for what can be seen is temporary, but what cannot be seen is eternal. (II Cor 4:17-18)
9 but He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power[a] is made perfect in weakness.” So, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. 10 Therefore I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities for the sake of Christ; for whenever I am weak, then I am strong. (II Cor 12:9-10)
17 and if children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ—if, in fact, we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him. (Romans 8:17-18)
13 But rejoice insofar as you are sharing Christ’s sufferings, so that you may also be glad and shout for joy when His glory is revealed. (I Peter 4:13)
Q What are you doing to be ready for Possible Persecution?

OK, with all due respect, you seem to be asking for specific answers to an ambiguous question. It would be helpful if we knew what you are referring to specifically.
So then:
1. Who, exactly, are going to be persecuted? 2. Who, exactly, are going to be the persecutors? 3. How, exactly, do you know it is "coming soon" 4. When, is " soon"

Dear Christbearer25,
I know Hutsul and he is very acquainted with Holy Scripture.
Certainly, Christians must always strive to be prepared to endure persecution for the Name of Jesus Christ.
May I ask you something?
What is the best way, in your estimation, for a Christian to prepare for persecution, regardless of when it comes?

[quote=Hutsul]OK, with all due respect, you seem to be asking for specific answers to an ambiguous question. It would be helpful if we knew what you are referring to specifically.
So then:
1. Who, exactly, are going to be persecuted? Anyone who does not go along with the homosexualist, one-world government worship of the passions. All lusts must be respected and woe to that man, woman, or priest who states in public that such behavior is sinful and will send you to hell. Remember, the world HATED our Christ and it will hate us if we stand for Him and His teachings from Scripture.
2. Who, exactly, are going to be the persecutors? This is already happening. The governments of the world do not like people actually taking Christ into the streets and talking about Him. They don't want us obeying Christ, they want us obeying them. People are being arrested on false charges, such as the FACE statutes here in America, for standing in front of abortion clinics and peacefully praying. Some are facing long jail times in this farce of justice. Churches were closed down during the scamdemic while whore houses remained open. You could buy alcohol and get drunk but not go to church. Those priests and pastors who dared stand up to this farce were persecuted. Persecution doesn't have to be killing us. It just has to be standing against us.
3. How, exactly, do you know it is "coming soon" Nonsense. It's already here. I guess the OP is thinking about "red martyrdom," which is something that the demons in control of our government would love to do to us. You don't have to listen very long to them talk before you realize that they want religion, but true Christian faith is not welcome. It never has been in the world and it never will be.
4. When, is " soon" See # 3. Just my opinion, folks, but I think there is some truth to it.

Christ is in our midst!!
Christbearer25,
Forgive me, but your last post here is one that only Moderators make. You have stepped over the line as a new poster who is still in full moderation so that we can see if you will be granted full privileges here.
With that, I am locking this thread.
