Good morning y'all! I wanted to make a quick introduction. My name is Francis and I am a Roman Catholic who has been discerning the Ruthenian tradition for 6 months now. My wife and our 5 children started attending the Divine Liturgy at St. Basil's in Irving, TX, though recently we moved and are now attending a small church in Michigan. It is my hope to gain a greater appreciation and understanding of the Liturgy here as well as grow spiritually by learning more about Byzantine prayer and devotions. Please be patient with me as a stumble around learning. May God bless you all abundantly!

How's your journey so far Francis? I'm in a similar place as you are. I love the Latin Rite deeply, and have been blessed to attend an excellent TLM for about 10 years now, but at the same time, I have been interested in the Eastern Rites most of my life, while being deeply unsatisfied with many aspects of Latin Rite spirituality, prayer, etc. My initial "inquiries" into the Byzantine tradition seem to show promise of fulfilling these empty spots, to put it one way.
