Okay, so, I found this out earlier, and it's not something easy for me to deal with. But, my friend told me that her cousin's husband had taken his own life. I have a suicide in my own family. And I have to keep asking "why"? Each and every time this happens. Her cousin has two children.
Please pray. Because, personally, I even know a priest that took his own life. This has got to stop.

Christ is in our midst!!

Prayers go up for this brother who took his own life. A neighbor of ours--young man--took his two years ago.

Adamcsc, there is often no reason that we can make sense of. No one knows except the Lord the burdens a person carries inside. No one can see that but He Who sees us through and through. It's heartbreaking. Sometimes there are no indications until it happens. This is not anyone's fault.

Our solace is to humbly ask for a merciful judgment, for His Divine Healing Hand to touch the survivors, and to bolster our own faith that is shaken by this situation that seems to have no answers. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted.
