Christ is in our midst!!

I just learned that a woman who goes to the same gym I do has had a severe stroke. For now she cannot swallow and must take all her nourishment by IV. Her right side is affected and she cannot speak clearly. In your generosity, please offer a prayer for her recovery. She is currently at the home of her daughter where she had gone for a little vacation and for Thanksgiving. She's been a good friend for a number of years and is a devout follower of Christ.

Maggie has regained her ability to swallow--thank God--but is still limited in her ability to fully care for herself. A report from her sister yesterday suggests she may need to enter a skilled care facility. Prayers continue.
