Okay, wooden stakes then. This guy sure blew in with an agenda and a determination to offend. I mean, most of us offend enough without trying. As a relative newcomer does this sort of thing happen often?

Dear Diak,
I once did a skit on a cruise ship with a girl who was dressed as a vampire.
I was her "dental hygienist."
I told the audience that vampires suck the blood of virgins (we were then in the U.S. Virgin Islands).
Katrina, the vampire girl, was wandering around as I said, "She was up all night seraching for virgins - no luck, Katrina?"
Katrina shook her head (she was in fact petrified of speaking in public).
I then said, "Well, that's not my fault. How was I to know that the Virgin Islands is where they send people for recycling?"
O.K., back to the Christmas decor . . .

Greetings All,
While we are on the topic of spelling things correctly, please spell Romania with an "o" actually it is a small "o" After the revolution of 1989 the spelling of the country name changed.
Just a point. Thanks Subdeacon Peter

But that would make it "Romanio". Is that what you are suggesting? Lauro

I think Peter means it used to be spelled Rumania and is now spelled Romania. In Christ, Anthony Originally posted by lpreima: But that would make it "Romanio". Is that what you are suggesting? Lauro

Please! Not another war on how to spell a term.
As the administrator of this Forum I hereby decree that at least one generation (30 years) must elapse from the date of the official spelling change until anyone can be offended by someone spelling it the way they learned it.
