Glory to Jesus Christ!

Does anyone know of the antiquity of this Liturgy? It is used by both the Assyrian Church of the East and the Chaldean/Assyrian Catholic Church of Nineveh. The most I can find out is that (at least Addai died in the Second Century) but Bishop Jammo of the Chaldean Diocese of San Francisco said on an EWTN program that Addai is really Thaddeus, one of the 72 disciples.

I would sincerely appreciate any information since I am in a Catholic Apologetics group at my parish of St. Joseph's in Attleboro, Massachusetts and I promised to research the antiquity of the Eucharistic Liturgy.

Thank you.

Khalid,

Thanks very much; I'll start to look at those website suggestions as soon as possible.

Also, does anyone know if the Syriac Catholic Liturgy is as old as the Liturgy of Addai and Mari?

In Christ, the Eternal Priest.
